Report

Allows for prioritization beyond the RICE model. Great for project management and planning. Used in Change Management processes. Should be used with the relationship matrix for improved results.

I recommend to use a scale of 1-3 to score each category.

Note: Effort = money and time

Lets propose you have 4 root causes:

1. Performance management is a power trip by supervisors and doesn't always reflect reality

2. Staff don't feel powered and are underutilized need a new project/team based way of working 3. Administrative staff feel they only push paper

4. Hierarchies have created a toxic work environment  so need horizontal structures when possible

Score each of these against the columns provided. This is a subjective score and that is OK.

REACH = does it affect everyone or a small group?

IMPACT =is it the main cause of the problem?

CONFIDENCE = How confident to solve it?

CONTROL = is it in our hands to solve it?

RELEVANCE = is it really important to people/staff. How is it perceived?

EFFORT: How is it ranked in time and money to solve it (1-3)?

USE THIS FORMULA TO REACH A SCORE FOR EACH ROOT CAUSE.

Reach x Impact x Confidence x Control x Relevance / Effort

The highest score indicates the highest priority.
