This template was designed by Innovationist.studio to help gathering and summarize insights during the Define and Ideate phase of the Design Thinking process.

The template is divided into

• Converge phases (1: Understand and 3:Define)

• Diverge phases (2: Explore and 4: Zoom out)

1. Understand: State the insights you gathered from interviews

2. Explore: Generate ideas about the implicit and explicit wants of the people

3. Define: Convert those insights into HMW questions

4. Zoom out: Re-frame the challenge by using divergent thinking and ideate what if the ”challenge” will happen in a different scenario/context.
