What is UX?
UX stands for User eXperience. This means the way that somebody (a user) interacts with (experiences) a website, app, product, game etc.
User Experience Design is the term we use for a collection of methodologies based on psychology, sociology and research. This practice enables us to influence the user’s journey through our product and ensure that both ours and the users needs are met by their interaction.

This workshop focuses on how you can present your brand online in the best way possible. By focussing on your business goals and working through traditional UX methodologies in a simple and approachable way, you’ll learn how to prioritise content so that your users can move seamlessly through your website, increasing impressions and conversions.
Using classic UX methodology in a double diamond approach, we’ll start by refining your goals and your vision and define our personas. We establish the mental models of our user base; their thoughts, wants and biases and how they effect their relationship with the product. Though various methods of exploration and refinement, we emerge with a clear vision for our website and the information architecture to support it.
This all sounds complicated, but this board will show you how to move through this process with ease and make a simple landing page that converts.
What you get out of it
Following this workshop will get you really clear on your goals and how your website will help you fulfil them. You will leave with a content inventory, list of pages and an information architecture, ready to be converted into your copydeck and first low-fi designs or wireframes.
