Team Topologies - Team API
How does your team work? How does it cooperate with other parts of your organization?
The Team Topologies approach suggests simplifying and making explicit the ways of teamwork. There is more than one type of team, and it's important to understand what is its mode of interaction with other teams.
Help your organization with implementing Team APIs. The template covers:
defining the type of the team (stream-aligned, enabling, platform, or complicated sub-system)
what are the responsibilities and provide services of the team
what are the current and ongoing interactions and the types of the interaction: X-as-a-service, collaboration, or facilitation
and some more.
The original concept of Team API is based on some of the ideas in the book Team Topologies by Matthew Skelton @matthewskelton and Manuel Pais @manupaisable. See pages 47-49 of the book Team Topologies.
