Team Productivity Metrics Definition Workshop

This template helps you facilitate a workshop with your team focused on choosing effectiveness metrics right for your team. It summarises the 4 steps for designing and using the metric framework while engaging all the team members in the process. As a facilitator of this workshop you will need to provide a brief explanation of the 3 types of metrics that provide context for assessing team effectiveness. Then, facilitate a session for each of the metric types: divide the participants into 3 breakout rooms and let them work on their proposal.

The last part will require you to moderate presentations of each team and bring the whole group to a final agreement on which metrics should be included in your own framework.

Tip: try to steer the group away from choosing all the possible metrics. You might want to prep yourself by looking at how the team functions before the workshop to have some suggestions on what will work for them ready.
