Rebound Archetypes

These cards have been designed as a flexible tool to facilitate workshops in thinking through indirect and rebound effects (in other words, unintended consequences that can have negative social or environmental impacts) of a design intervention.
While they were originally designed to engage clients willing to provide/design a 'sustainable' (digital) product or service, they can be adapted for a wide range of contexts such as non-digital interventions (e.g., policymaking), the study of an existing intervention, awareness raising (e.g., citizens), education, etc.
