Project Scope & Timeline
Introduction
The template is designed to help teams plan and visualize project releases with synchronized timeline and data table views. It includes sections for timeline visualization, scope definition, and story details.
Template Components
1. Title Template
The Title Template frame provides a space to define your project title and team composition:
Project Title: Replace "Example Title" with your project name
Team Composition: Replace "Team: XX BE, YY FE" with your actual team members, specifying backend (BE) and frontend (FE) developers
2. Timeline Template
The Timeline Template provides dual views of your project schedule:
Timeline View: Visual representation of project timeline
Table View: Data table representation of the same information
Risks: List out all possible items which creates a risk of delays.
3. Scope Template
The Scope Template helps define what is included and excluded from your project:
In Scope: List features and functionalities that will be delivered
Not In Scope: List features and functionalities that are explicitly excluded
Who Do We Care About?: Define target users or stakeholders
Questions: Document open questions that need resolution
4. Story Template
The Story Template allows you to document individual user stories or features:
TODO: List tasks required to complete the story
Total Estimated Effort: Document estimated development time (BE: ?D FE: ?D)
Add visual mockups or additional details as needed
How to Use the Template
Copy the Empty Template Frames: Use the empty frames provided as starting points for your project planning.
Fill in Project Details: Complete each template section with your project-specific information.
Create Timeline and Data Table Views: Follow these steps when setting up the timeline:
Use the "duplicate" option (without sync) for the timeline
Delete the existing "Data Table" view
Duplicate the timeline view with sync option
Change the layout to "Data Table"
