Problem Framing Workshop
About the template
The Problem Framing Workshop guides a team to unpack a problem space, giving you confidence that the most appropriate problems are being tackled for your strategy.
The process aims to provide rigour in defining a problem statement by asking the right questions. After unpacking a problem in greater depth, you can reduce wasteful activity and pursue innovative initiatives built on strong foundations.
This workshop is designed to facilitate a clear articulation of the importance of a problem. The four part process process helps to align teams, customers, product managers and various stakeholders on what needs to be solved and why.
The key questions are adapted from the "Problem-Definition Process" developed by Dwayne Spradlin as featured in Harvard Business Review, September 2012.
