Primary & Secondary Research
What is it?
Primary research is a way of gathering your own data directly to learn more about how your product idea could meet a customer’s need. Secondary research is based on using data sources that someone else has collected and arranged. This type of research limits you from asking your own questions, but it allows you to obtain large amounts of data in a relatively quick time frame.
How do I use it?
Primary Research
Capture and describe the primary research activities you have done (or plan to do) to understand more about your product ideas; that might help you achieve some of your product goals.
Secondary Research
Capture and describe the secondary research activities you have done (or plan to do) to understand more about your product ideas; that might help you achieve some of your product goals.
