Learning Backlog Template

What is it for?

The template provides a loose framework for developing a personal learning backlog.

Who is it for?

It can be used by a coach or manager with their coachee, or by an individual, to support their ongoing development in a lean and iterative fashion.

How should I use it?

Work through the frames from left to right, either independently or in a 1-1 with a coach or manager.
Each frame takes ~45 mins to complete, so don't try to do everything in 1 session!
Once complete, review the goals in your backlog periodically and update them as required.
Track completed goals by changing their color or adding to the 'Done' frame.

How not to use it

This is a personal development tool and should not be used by managers for performance management.
This tool may not work for everyone, so it should not be made mandatory. Use only what is useful, discard what isn't.
