Open Space remote edition
Open Space is a workshop format that allows medium-sized to big groups to work on ideas, questions and topics. Now it's also possible in remote settings. The following template was tested several times with groups up to 80 people. It is easy to adopt. Communication tools like Zoom or Microsoft Teams go hand in hand with it.
The goal is to allow voluntariness and invitation, thus giving people back the feeling of effectiveness and co-design. Who could know better what should be changed than those who work with the processes and products on a daily basis?
Everybody who has an idea has the chance to promote their topic or question and pitch it. What do they want to accomplish and which experts would they like to see on their panel? Then they get to pick a spot on the topic wall. Three rounds will happen one after the other, where several topics can be worked on in parallel in small self-finding groups. Afterwards all result posters will be displayed in a gallery.
