Mutual Goal Workshop

Report

Hi there, BEsmart is on the line!

Finding a mutual goal is crucial when a team has to present a project.

It allows you to synchronize the team, distribute parts of preparations between team members and get more aligned results with fewer iterations.

During this workshop, you will

  1. Understand individual motives for the presentation

  2. Determine goals that are important for most of the team

  3. Discover things they have in common

  4. Create a universal goal that the whole team will be on board with

How to use results

Speakers

Speakers will be able to build a consistent preparation process. They will always have a similar big picture in mind, so it will be easier to follow the same strategy.

Designers

The result of this workshop might help if you use a designer's help to create slides. This mutual goal will give a baseline to start building a design concept.

Public speaking consultants

If you have a public speaking consultant helping you, this mutual goal will also help them to maintain consistency working with several speakers.

Timing

This workshop usually takes 30 to 40 minutes to conduct. You can always add icebreakers and discussion about the context of the presentation beforehand to make the entrance to the ideation smoother.

Contact me if you have any questions about conducting this workshop.

Cheers!
