Multiple Project Updates Board
Jessica Z L
Hello Miro wonderer,
This Template is for those of you who may be Managers or Facilitators for a team that has multiple projects going on at the same time.
I have found that in the past doing it this way was successful and I have included instructions below as well as a link to my step-by-step youtube video.
I have also made this workshop suitable for those with colour blindness or vision variations.
I hope you find it useful :)
Instructions
Step 1
Wait a few minutes for everyone to join the meeting. If they have done this before people can make a head start on writing down their updates. Or if you prefer you can ask people to fill out their columns before the meeting. This will shorten the meeting time if you can't get everyone together for extended periods of time.
Step 2
If you have waited for people to join the meeting you can give them 10mins or so to write down their answers in their columns. Once they are done ask them to drag the green tick above their name. This will help the facilitator of this meeting know when to stop the timer to avoid spending excessive time on this meeting. If they have already written their updates in their columns prior to this meeting, you can skip to step 3.
Step 3
The Manager or if you have a separate facilitator can ask the people about their projects one by one and give them a few mins each to explain their updates. Shouldn't be more than 5min each. Make sure to ask if anyone has any questions once each person has finished talking. Anyone in the meeting can ask questions. If it's one with a long answer or explanation maybe those two people can catch up after the meeting for a chat.
Step 4
Once everyone has spoken about their projects ask if anyone has any further questions then end the meeting.
