immPACC Mapping

immPACC Mapping is a 2-hour facilitated workshop to help communities explore and improve COVID-19 vaccine uptake by bringing stakeholders together to discuss local improvements through the use of personas.

The instructions below are also included in the template.

INSTRUCTIONS:

This template is for immPACC Mapping facilitators. It is designed to work with our immPACC Mapping method. If you have not yet gone through the immPACC facilitator training series, then the process for the mapping sessions will make less sense. You can find out more about the immPACC Mapping Method in our immPACC facilitator toolkit. Typically, you'll add this template to a new, empty Miro board and then follow these steps:

1. Use a new board for each community session you will be conducting.

2. Edit the initial slides for your session.

• Feel free to add / delete slide frames, the ones provided here are meant as general guides.

• There are several places where we have put <PUT PLACEHOLDER TEXT IN BRACKETS> - go through and put in the specific information there for your session.

3. Create the immPACC Map image for the area for the session:

• Use Google maps to create your map image

• Pull that map image from your computer onto your board (drag and drop it anywhere on the board)

• Place the map in the map frame that best fits your community (we have tall, square, or wide versions over to the right) and resize it so it fits the space.

• In the top left box on the frame, add the session title (usually the community name, or what works best for your audience) and planned session date.

• Once you have put those pieces into the frame, select all the items (the map, the title, date, and the original boxes) and lock them in Miro. This is important as this stops you from accidentally moving these pieces during your immPACC session.

• Delete the two other blank maps you do not need from your board.

• Delete the example maps, to avoid confusion in the session.

4. Add your personas to your map frame

• Once you have decided the personas you are going to use for the session, pull the persona tokens from the persona list on this board on top of your map frame (bring all three tokens, the picture, the idea card, and the little movable token).

• We suggest you put them in order, top to bottom, to match your session.

• If you have created your own personas with new pictures, you can also add those as well.

• You make want to change the background colors of any personas you have selected so the ones you are using are clearly different to the others.
