Gotham Retrospective
An agile retrospective: Gotham tv Serie Edition
Icebreaker
Warm up the conversation by answering what you think or how you feel if you find the Joker at a dead end, and go through all the answers together.
Prime Directive
Set the mood by reading a Prime Directive with a strong focus on the Batman universe and Gotham, create an environment of trust and security within the session (Trick: you can imitate Batman's voice to make it more fun).
Gather insights:
Encourage the team to answer the following questions:
Det. James Gordon: What it is the kind of culture we are building in our "city"? Are there dark or challenging aspect in our project that resemble de nature of Gotham?
Bruce Wayne: How can we channel any frustrations or challenges into constructive actions, turning potentials fears into sources of motivation?
Edward Nygma: What unexpected challenges or mysteries have arisen in our recent work, and how can we collaboratively solve them as a team?
Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin): What obstacles or challenges have we faced recently, and how can we expose their true nature to overcome them more effectively?
Alfred Pennyworth: How can we strength our commitment to each other, embodying a sense of responsibility and care for the success of the team?
Selina Kyle: What basic needs or motivations drive our team members, and how can we align our goals to ensure everyone is satisfied and motivated?
Dot vote
Encourage the team to downselect to the item that most needs an action or experiment against. You can use the dot voting feature in Miro or shapes/emojis related to the theme of the retro.
Actions/Experiments
Identify 3-5 actions or experiments to try in the next iteration to solve the most voted topics.
Rate the Retro
It is time to rate the Return of Time Invested in the Retrospective. Put a batman sticky on the face that reflect your rate the most.
You can also give ideas for next Retrospective templates.
