Golf Retrospective

Report

Reflect on past performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement with the Golf retrospective template.

Guidance for use:

Stage 1 - Golf Course Icebreaker

Drop a golf ball on the area of the course that you feel addresses our previous sprint performance. Did we make the green, are we in the rough or even in the bunker?

Stage 2 - Golf Retro Board

Teams will then make their way around the board adding their thoughts and feelings while covering each of the themes listed:

HOLE IN ONE!

What are we doing right?

What has been great?

OUT ON THE RANGE

Do we need any training and development?

Are there any skill gaps in the team?

CLUB SELECTION

Do we have the right tools for the job?

Are there additional tools or tech we should add?

IN THE ROUGH

What are we doing that makes things hard?

How do we stay out of the rough?

READING THE GREEN

What can we see that could be a problem?

How do we navigate and exploit our environment?

CADDY CHAT

Who makes your work enjoyable/ fun?

Give some shout-outs to our top performers!

Stage 3 - Rate The Retro

Once all areas of the board have been covered invite the team to rate the retro by placing a golf ball token on the appropriate score rating from Bogey (Waste of time) to Albatross (Productive and engaging session)
