Employee Journey Map
What is this template about
This template is based on the Employee Journey Map methodology, which visually represents the life cycle (internal experience) of an employee in connection with his employment in a particular company. This method was created by Møde through the synthesis of many practices. Similar to the Customer Journey Map tool from the Design Thinking, it allows you to put yourself in the shoes of your target audience to understand what they experience when interacting with your company (in our case, the company plays the role of an employer).
Why did we create this template?
For us, when designing experiences within the company, the main goal is not just to build a technical path for a person, but to form a common vision (General Ideal Experience), that is supported and implemented by every activity of the company (both at the level of real transformations and at the communication level).
Therefore, we have developed this template, in which the main element is the journey of an employee within the company.
When this template is most useful
It can be used to design and plan company actions at 5 stages of interaction with an employee:
HIRE - the stage when a specialist is looking for you, and you are looking for a specialist
RECRUITMENT - the stage of passing all types of interviews (interaction with employees of the HR department, immediate supervisor, security service, etc.)
INSPIRE - the stage of initial adaptation to work (getting to know the team, getting to know the requirements and responsibilities for your position, passing trainings, etc.)
ADMIRE - the stage of acquiring loyalty to the company and professional growth (gradual development of professional skills and career advancement of an employee)
RETIRE - the stage when an employee decides to leave the company
Who might benefit from this template
It can be especially useful for hiring managers, team leaders, HR, or just anyone who's interested in making the employee experience as easy and warmly as possible.
How to use this template: detailed instructions for using the template can be found on the board (they are located a little to the left of the frameworks).
