How to Use this Template

1. Discussion prompts

The board contains several discussion prompts that cover different aspects of the sprint. Each prompt focuses on a specific topic related to the sprint, such as achievements, obstacles, team dynamics, and helpful tools/resources.

Crown jewels

Identify standout moments from the last sprint. Reflect on the accomplishments and successes of your team and add stickies/notes to capture these crown jewels.

Steps to the throne

This section addresses any obstacles that hindered progress during the sprint. Discuss the challenges faced and brainstorm ways to avoid or mitigate them in future sprints.

Kings & Queens

Recognize and appreciate the individuals who made significant contributions towards achieving the sprint goals. Acknowledge their efforts and express gratitude.

The sceptre

Evaluate the tools and resources utilized during the sprint. Identify the most helpful ones and discuss whether any tools or resources should be added or removed to improve efficiency.

Royal banquet

Assess the team dynamics and collaboration within your group. Reflect on how effectively you work together and support each other. Explore opportunities for enhancing teamwork and fostering a healthy work environment.

The line of succession

Reflect on the improvements made since the last sprint and celebrate the achievements. Share what you are proud of building/creating and set goals for the upcoming sprint.

3. Crown dot vote

After discussing each prompt, it's time to prioritize the most impactful points. Utilize the "Crown Dot Vote" section to vote for the items that resonate the most with your team. Use the crown tokens provided below the section to cast your votes.

4. Rate the retro

In the "Rate The Retro" section, rate the overall retrospective session using the character selection stage. Add a crown token to the character that best reflects your perception of the retro. This rating helps gauge the effectiveness of the retrospective and provides valuable feedback for improvement.
