Concentric Consensus x24
This activity is designed to help a group collaboratively generate key points on a topic or question and work together to reach a consensus. The structure, based on the Liberating Structure 1-2-4-All, guides participants through progressively larger discussions to refine ideas.
Starting in pairs, each group member contributes three ideas to the discussion, placing them on provided sticky notes. Next, pairs merge into groups of four, reviewing and narrowing their ideas to three that will move forward. These refined ideas are added to the board and grouped together based on similarities. The facilitator then leads the entire group in a voting process, where each person selects their top three ideas. The top three selections are highlighted, moving to the center for final review, ensuring the group reaches consensus on the key points.
This process helps filter and prioritize ideas efficiently, promoting group engagement and collective decision-making.
