Comic Book Retrospective

Report

🦸🏻‍♂️🦸🏽‍♀️ Do not accept the things you cannot change. Change the things you cannot accept.

The Comic Book Retrospective is a way for a Team to reflect on ways to improve their Team System through elements of a comic book.

Reflection questions have been added to each colorful panel, prompting the Team to further engage in the discussion. Together we can do anything!

How to Use the Comic Book Retrospective

Set the Stage:

Open with a check-in exercise to help the Team with initial engagement.

Gather the Data:

Introduce the Retro and guide the Team to reflect on the different areas as it pertains to their Team System and current events.

Guide the team to cluster their thoughts & affinity map while they converse.

Gather Insights:

Encourage them to analyze problems/issues brought up and their corresponding solutions.

Decide What to Do:

Encourage the team to identify learnings, deciding improvements to make. They can use dot voting to narrow down items to work on.

Close the Retro:

Summarize the next steps and ask for feedback on how to make the Retrospective better for next time.
