Celebration Grid - Education Edition
Celebration Grid is one of the toolkits from Management 3.0 that can be used in the context of education to encourage and recognize positive behaviors and achievements among learners and teachers or mentees and mentors. It's very powerful when used within the continuous improvement cycle; not only uncovers areas for improvement but also highlights other aspects of success and failure at the same time for our learning reflection.
How to use Celebration Grid?
The easiest way to use Celebration Grid is by identifying the Success Outcome first from each behavior, both Experiment and Practice conducted, which probably has potential for Key Learning.
The Failure Outcome will help us to learn from mistakes and give a comparison perspective not to repeat it again and give strong reasoning why it also happened.
From each filled Celebration Grid, according to the diagonal slice which actually indicates the portion of each grid learning, try to find the relevancy and silver lining of each behavior and the outcomes, move the important sticky notes into Key Learning in the bottom and improve it for the next learning process or iteration.
You can use this Celebration Grid for any case, such as reflection, retrospective or strategic planning in different contexts and practices in academy, business, or organization.
