Brain Friendly Feedback
—
—
This is the brain-friendly feedback method, and it can help you prepare to give feedback when the stakes are high or when you don't know the person on the other side.
Just answer the questions and write your answers to help you with your feedback. And don't forget - if you are respectful in your communication and you follow the guidelines for giving feedback, you are not responsible for the person's reaction.
Feedback has to be:
Informative
Concrete and specific
Based on behaviour, NOT personality
Timely
Respectful
Being direct and rude or gossiping about others is feedsmack - the intention is to harm, not to help!
