Basic Retrospective

Report

Here’s a straightforward retrospective format centered around four key prompts: what went well, where we can improve, what blockers are in the way, and a space to give kudos to teammates. It’s a flexible setup that fits easily into different team styles and workflows. To help make your retros more engaging and meaningful, you might want to:

  1. Enable Private Mode to give everyone a chance to reflect and jot down their ideas independently, without being influenced by others’ input.

  2. Consider including a few additional sections—one for a quick icebreaker to help the team ease into the conversation, and another to capture action items, along with any unresolved topics from the previous retrospective.

  3. Use the voting feature and timer to surface the key topics and help keep the discussion focused and on track.
