Agile Manifesto Values Icebreaker
Agile Manifesto Values Icebreaker
The Agile Manifesto is a set of guiding principles for software development that values individuals and interactions over processes and tools, working solutions over comprehensive documentation, and customer collaboration over contract negotiation. It emphasizes the importance of adaptability, flexibility, and collaboration in achieving success.
This icebreaker will help us explore the principles of the Agile Manifesto and how they can be applied to our work. This icebreaker will give us a chance to see how the principles are being applied in practice and learn from each other's experiences.
We will also discuss how we can apply these principles to our own work to improve our collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability. Let's get started!
Remind the Agile Manifesto Values 🧠 – Quickly go through the Agile Manifesto statements. Ask participants to think about the values mentioned for a minute.
Inspect the examples of each value 🕵️ – Ask participants to write down examples when they or their colleagues have shown one of the Agile Manifesto Values. One sticky note per example. Examples of the opposite are also ok.
How well do you embrace Agile Values 🤗 – Each participant read their stickers aloud. Use it as input for further discussion on how well you embrace the Agile Values and what can be improved
Instruction is also in the template itself.
